I had the pleasure of speaking with Guy Kozowyk and Greg Weeks at the most recent Floridian Red Chord show /w Gwar. I asked them about how the tour was going as Guy had mentioned on stage that "...typically at a Gwar show you wouldn't see many people who like us. But that's okay because we're still gonna play some awesome death metal is that okay?!" Guy laughed and mentioned that touring with Gwar is one of the best experiences a metal band could wish for, because Brockie (Oderus Urungus) always makes sure the bands on Gwar tours are taken care of completely. Weeks also commented that The Red Chord has been in talks to release a 4 LP Vinyl Boxset for the band's first ever vinyl pressing. I know I'm stoked.

This album is the sound of well thought out brutality with some very progressive licks. Crushing, battering, unrelenting are adjectives that come to mind with Fed Through the Teeth Machine Definitely a potential album of the year candidate for me, but with releases coming from Converge, Mastodon, Baroness, Brutal Truth among others it will be a very competitive race.

9/10 bloody chain saws for The Red Chord's newest release available now on Metal Blade Records!
